The Inspiration Behind “Zandernatis” - Genesis Antarctica

Meta-realist artists Johfra and Ellen Lorien inspired “Zandernatis”

In the early 1970s, Johfra (Bosschart) and Ellen Lorien visited visionary artist Gordon Keirle’s studio (located in a famous London West End theatre). As a result of this meeting – and a one-week stay with them in the south of France – Gordon realised he could never achieve their technical perfection without spending 10 years (or more) in Art School… Yet there were so many visions he wanted to bring into the world!

Hermes lThe Trinity

1. Hermes Trismegistus – by Johfra,  2. The Trinity by Ellen Lorien

So instead of painting with oils and brushes, he decided to paint with words instead. 4 years later, the first version of “Zandernatis” was completed, but remained unpublished for being “too ambitious” !!! Forty years on, the “Trinity” collection of “Zandernatis” books was finally completed, reworked with the corroborative proof and documentation that has made it into a whole new genre: “Meta-Realist Allegory“. Almost everyone who has read them so far has commented on them being “intensely visual”… Now you know why !

Trinity covers

In a review, well-known author, teacher, speaker publisher, personal and spiritual consultant PENNY KELLY http://pennykelly.com/ spoke of the books in these terms:

“There are few books that so quickly manage to get the reader to suspend disbelief and then open the mind to the possibility that there might be a new view of history and the world. But “Zandernatis” is one of them. As a new genre, called “meta-realist allegory”, it is part history, part fantasy and part metaphysical; it is a captivating read. Uniquely creative!”
